Branding for Startups

This is a startup founders meetup. During the meetup, we will hold a seminar in which attendees will learn how branding can help you get customers, talent, and investors to buy into their venture. The event is invite-only, but we a few seats for friends so you can ask for an invitation.

Understanding the Design Sprint methodology

Developed at Google Ventures, the Design Sprint methodology is a process that helps startup founders to design, prototype and get customers feedback on their business idea in just 5 days. It brings together business strategy, innovation, behavior science, design thinking, and more. On September, 17th, we are hosting a workshop for our startups and some guests organized by our friends at the Moze design studio.

Usability Testing Night

This event is organized with the contribution of Nois3, a creative studio specialized in developing visual concepts, digital strategies, web and mobile applications. The folks at Nois3 are the organizers of the World Usability Day in Rome too. The participation is limited to startups founders, designers and product owners. You can ask for an invitation here.

Driving an Autonomous Future

Andrew Kouri

On Friday, June 28th we organize a founders meetup with Andrew Kouri, former developer of the Tesla autopilot, who left Elon Musk’s company to found lvl5, a company focusing on deep learning, computer vision, and maps for autonomous vehicles. lvl5 was backed by Y Combinator, and we invested in the startup during the W17 Demo Day. Andrew and his co-founders recently agreed to be acquired. During the meetup, Andrew will talk about the process of starting a company, working with co-founders, and eventually making the decision to sell a company.

These events are reserved to Pi Campus founders and our guests. If you were not invited, you can request an invitation here. Be aware that requesting an invitation does not guarantee an invitation from us.

Founders Meetup with Nicola Mattina

On Tuesday, June 25th we organize a founders meetup with Nicola Mattina, who recently sold Stamplay, the startup he co-founded with Giuliano Iacobelli, to Apple. Nicola will share with us the lessons he learned during his journey from starting up the company to deciding to sell it and, finally, selling to one of the leading companies of the technology ecosystem.
