Italian Tech Tour 2016: Events at Pi Campus

We are glad to announce that Pi Campus is supporting the 2016 Italian edition of Tech Tour, an event that will showcase Italy’s fast-growing entrepreneurial hub bringing together in Turin and Rome 100 and more international investors, venture capitalists and corporates actively seeking to invest in hi-tech Italian SMEs.

Rome and Turin are fast-growing technological hubs and home to some of Europe’s great technology universities and incubators. The Italian Tech Tour will begin in Turin on the 15 of November with a sector focus on industry 4.0 and smart city, including a panel discussion moderated by Alvise Bonivento, Investment Director at Atlante Ventures, and presentations by 20 emerging and growth stage companies seeking their next rounds of investment.

The event then moves to Rome on the 16-17 of November with a sector focus on ICT and digital tech featuring company presentations by 30 emerging and growth companies. There will also be a panel discussion on Italian company success stories moderated by George Coelho, Managing Director of Good Energies. The panel will feature insight from 4 successful Italian companies – Expert System, Octo Telematics, and Pi Campus founding companies Memopal and Translated.net.

The closing keynote will be delivered by Riccardo Zacconi, CEO of King.com, who will discuss his own success story as CEO of one of the world’s leading interactive entertainment companies for the mobile world, developers of Candy Crush Saga. View the full programme here.
