FAQs

Can I attend just the keynote and networking?

Sure, you can just attend the keynote and the networking. Mind you: if you skip the workshop you won’t be able to take part in the challenge.

I don’t know how GenAI works. Can I attend?

One of the goals of the workshop is to introduce you to GenAI in a straightforward, no-code manner.

I don’t know coding. Can I attend?

Absolutely! No coding skills are required for most of the workshop except for embedding pipelines into applications

Can I come with my team?

Sure, teams are welcome. Please note that each member of the team must register.

Can I attend as a guest?

Yes, we are always open to new friends and participants need supporters. Please register as a guest.

How does the challenge work?

Participants attending the workshop will be split into teams, and teams are expected to use the aiXplain platform to create innovative AI solutions.  The best AI solution will win the challenge.

How do you pick challenge winners?

The criteria for determining the winning team are: 1) novelty; 2) viability (does it work); 3) marketability (is it sellable); and 4) final presentation (motivation, clarity, demo, etc.).

What will you use the code I write for?

You will NOT be writing code to solve a problem for a company. Challenges are fun and, well, challenging.

Do I need to bring my own computer?

Yes, you will be using your own computer. You don’t need to install any software, just make sure your system is up to date so you don’t have to update it during the event.
