A welcome by Pi Campus founder Marco Trombetti
followed by challenge details.
A talk by our guest Boris Power, OpenAI staff member, about practical applications of GPT-3 and Codex.
We will have 4 challenges of about 40 minutes each.
A standing dinner is scheduled in the middle.
Time for chats and a couple of beers.
Well, it’s an AI challenge 🙂 We will provide ready-to-use APIs in advance. This means you won’t have to write them, but you will have to understand how they work.
You can find documentation online. We will provide you with Open AI documentation and an API license a few days in advance so you will be able to experiment before the challenge.
We are always open to new friends, but due to Covid-19 limitations we will have to restrict the number of attendees. That said, we have a guest quota, reserved for those able to support participants. Please, apply.
It’s a tournament in 4 challenges. Participants will be matched randomly for 1:1 matches. We will present a challenge and ask to solve it in 40 minutes. Who solves the challenge advance to the next stage.
Our jurors will pick the winner of each match. Criteria are: challenge solved, best solution, and less time used. If no one solves the challenge, jurors will evaluate who arrived nearest to the solution.
Pi Campus invests in fast-growing AI startups that regularly look for smart researchers and coders. By creating connections with talents we support our startups both in networking and in hiring.
You will be NOT writing code to solve a problem for a company. Challenges are funny and, well, challenging. We ask to host code on Github to simplify jurors reviews.
Usually, we don’t. If you have a very interesting profile and traveling cost is something that will stop you from attending the event, please let us know.
Participation in the AI Challenge is limited and by selection. Apply with your LinkedIn or Github profile to get invited.
Please, note: Green Pass and mask are mandatory.
