Join us to discuss what happens when starting up a company in a market disrupted by the digital revolution and the new challenges for venture capitalists and business angels.
Carlo is one of the men who most contributed to building up the Italian Internet market. He founded innovative companies that have broken new ground in the world of media (Matrix, sold to SEAT PG), banking (Fineco, now a listed company controlled by Unicredit Group), and gaming (Gioco Digitale, sold to BWIN), and he recently takes on the financial market with Soldo, a startup that raised $11 million in 2017 in a Series A funding led by Accel (investor of companies like Facebook, Dropbox, and Spotify).
Roberto is Investment Partner at InReach Ventures, the first AI-powered investment firm to be fully focused on the early stage European sector. He co-founded InReach Ventures after working for seven years as a partner at Balderton Capital (Benchmark Europe), one of the largest European venture funds, and investing in several US and EU startups that exited to companies such as DemandMadia, Cannon, and Facebook.
Before the event, we will host the launch of Dock3Jam, the first hackathon organized by Dock3 – The startup lab, the newborn startup incubator of Roma Tre University.
