December 5th, 2019 – 5 PM – Pi 6 (Via Indonesia 23, Rome)
Networking at the intersection between AI and Design
A Clash of Minds
The Search for
An Intelligent Web
The next version of the Internet will be more and more human-centered and customized. For both designers and developers one of the next challenges is to create dynamic interfaces that can optimize their usage based on the information available, the user who is visiting the page, and her behavior.
To anticipate these trends we have organized a meetup with the AI and Design communities, calling developers and designers to form teams, brainstorm solutions to real scenario issues, and come up with new ideas and challenges.

Leverage Existing Apps
Teams will be asked to pick a concrete web- or app-based user interface which would benefit from a personalised design influenced by usage patterns.
Create Innovative Solutions
You will have to work out how, concretely, you would, in a real-life scenario, measure usage patterns, adapt the UI/UX using machine learning and AI, evaluate benefits. Then rinse and repeat.
Identify New Challenges
Point out what challenges you perceive for the field: we're looking for genuinely hard issues which deliver big value if they can be overcome.
