FAQ

Do I need to be a coding expert?

Well, it’s a hacking challenge 🙂 You will receive documentation and training, but to benefit from both, you need to be a backend or frontend developer.

Can I participate with a friend?

We will form small teams during the event. Please note that the teams will be randomly selected. You are welcome to team up with a friend beforehand.

Can I attend as a guest?

Yes, we are always open to new friends and participants need supporters. Please register as a guest.

How do you pick challenges winners?

Our judges will determine the winner of each game. The criteria are: challenge solved, best solution, and least time used. If no one solves the challenge, the judges will evaluate who came closest to the solution.

Why do you organize this event?

Pi Campus invests in fast-growing AI startups that are regularly looking for smart researchers and programmers. By creating connections with talent, we help our startups with both networking and hiring.

What will you use the code I write for?

You will NOT be writing code to solve a problem for a company. Challenges are fun and, well, challenging.

I live outside Rome, can you cover traveling?

Usually we don’t. If you have a very interesting profile and the cost of travel is something that would prevent you from attending the event, please let us know.
