Matteo will share with us how he solved the difficulties he encountered in launching Venere.com, how it grew, and about selling it to Expedia for € 200M in 2008. It’s an amazing story we are sure will benefit both startup founders and Pi friends.
We are honored to welcome Mr. Noar Gilon, Israeli Ambassador to Italy, to Pi Campus for the event. He will announce the Start Tel Aviv 2016 competition, and we will also have a brief speech from Haim Piratinskiy, founder of nJoin, a startup focused on optimizing factories’ profitability while reducing their environmental impact.
This event is co-hosted with the Columbia Business School Alumni Club of Rome. It’s an invitation-only event, and it’s intended as a networking opportunity for Pi Campus startups, investors and entrepreneurs’ friends, alumni of the world’s top universities (Columbia, Harvard, Insead, London Business School, MIT, Singularity University, and Stanford), and Israeli Embassy guests.
