Get on Board! Translated is Building a Team for a Crazy Venture

Translated, Pi Campus’ founding company, is boarding on a venture to prove that if you focus on great human skills you can achieve anything. In business as much as in adventure. Its team is building a crew of visionaries who have no fear to leave behind technologies and face the unknown armed only with their human skills. Selections are open, and Pi friends are taken in high consideration.

«We will be sailing the world on a 50+ years old boat and without any of the recent technologies aboard – tells Translated and Pi Campus CEO Marco TrombettiJust star-mapping, barometer readings, and the perseverance, courage, and sweat of our crew, composed only by 30 percent of professional sailors. The other members of the crew will be people like me and you, trained in Rome and in San Francisco by captain Paul Cayard for this venture.»

Translated boat is a wonderful 20 meter-long Swan 65 named Translated 9. The company is taking part in the Ocean Globe Race 2023, a regatta that will mirror the 1977 edition touching four continents across all of the world’s oceans. This is by far the world’s most human-centered regatta! In such a competition, to win you need resilience, the ability to team in difficulties, courage, and determination.

«Often people think that artificial intelligence could replace humans – tells Trombetti – At Translated, our work has always been focused on the integration between AI and professionals. We love technology for human services, but we believe in humans and we want to make people understand that humans are and must always be at the center.»

Translated is taking people from different backgrounds and cultures to form its crew. Selection is based on passion, commitment, and resilience. «We’d be thrilled to have Pi friends on board» says Trombetti.
